Brooklyn Contemporary

The client, a serial entrepreneur and travel photographer, wanted a home that would reflect his personal aesthetic and minimalist philosophy. To achieve this goal, a warm modernist design was developed, blending clean and modern with a little industrial edge.

In the living/dining area, the neutral color palette sets the tone for a custom oak dining table and a bench inspired by a Japanese restaurant in SoHo. A vintage Italian pendant light was installed above the dining table for ambient lighting during potluck dinners with friends. In the bedroom, picture ledges were installed for the client to display his photography.

The project took nine months to complete and was featured in Brooklyn Magazine.
